| Bio: | Name: Luke Archibald Patterson Age/DOB: 22/ January 27, 1986 Gender: Male Sexuality: Gay Physical Description: Luke is medium height (about 5'11) with wavy brown hair and blue eyes. He has a slim frame but is more muscular than one would expect from helping out on the farm and working out a few times a week. His smile is his best asset. His skin his pale and he has a light sprinkling of hair over his body. He also has ears that are a bit too large for his head. Personality: Luke is quiet and a little shy, but not afraid to speak the truth. Interpersonal relationships are not his strong suit and his blunt way of dealing with things can some times turn people off. When he relaxes, however, he has a good sense of humor and can be fun to be around. He likes to keep busy, though, and often has difficult relaxing unless he is with a good book. History (Please write at least four/five paragraphs here. You're starting this character from scratch this is the place to flesh him/her out): Luke was only five years old when his parents, Martha and Jonathan, filed for a divorce. Up until then, the three of them had lived in a small apartment in Philadelphia, but after the divorce, his mother decided to take her son and move to live with her parents on their farm in rural Pennsylvania. Luke grew up completely daily tasks on the farm, starting with feeding the hens and moving on to more important tasks like milking the cows, but he always found time for school work and reading. Life in such a rural place without any siblings was lonely, but Luke found solace in his books and by the age of ten, he had read almost every book in the children's section of the library. He was quiet and school and had trouble making friends, but he devoted himself to his school work, though he sometimes got distracted by his books. Luke had never questioned the fact that he liked boys. It had seemed like something completely natural to him, like having blue eyes or brown hair. His mother wasn't surprised when he came out to her, but they decided to keep it a secret from his grandparents, who might not be as accepting. For high school, Luke attended Goldfinch Academy. He had an awkward first kiss with another boy in his year, but other than that, he didn't experiment much. Upon graduation, Luke attended the University of Chicago and majored in Philosophy. When he graduated, however, he found that the world wasn't as accepting of his homosexuality as his parents and classmates had been, and he eventually moved back to Goldfinch to fill the position of Assistant Librarian.
